Arcs, circles, ellipses

Learn how to draw arcs, circles and ellipses.

Arcs, circles, ellipses

You can draft an arc in three ways: by specifying a centre and radius, two points or three points. Each way brings its own applicability, pros and cons. In the first instance, we have the option of indicating the radius and arms both with the mouse and from the keyboard. The last way, on the other hand, enables drawing an arc that starts and ends at the first two points indicated and crosses through the third point.

Circles, like arcs, can also be inserted by specifying a radius, and two or three points. In contrast, an ellipse is drafted by specifying a centre point, X and Y radiuses and rotation.

Either a full fill or a pattern fill can be employed for each of the above objects.
