Points represent the simplest of drawing objects. In the main, it has a supportive role when drawing. Unlike other objects, it is always of the same size regardless of magnification or print scale and, apart from its colour and coordinates, has no other attributes.
As well as single points, you can split a specific segment into equal parts with the Points (split)
tool. Splitting with points is done by indicating two vertices determining the segment
to be split into the number of equal parts specified by the user.
